Rail passengers travelling between Norwich and Cambridge are being delayed for up to 30 minutes because of a level crossing problem.
The problem at Thetford level crossing was reported at around 9am today.
Around 200 metres of fibre optic cabling has been damaged meaning that trains have to run slowly over level crossings.
Network Rail engineers are on site fixing the problem, but a spokeswoman warned it was 'not a simple job'.
The cause of the damage has not yet been established.
