A power failure at Ely is causing delays to trains this evening.
The total power failure on the signalling systems around Ely is disrupting trains on the Cambridge to Norwich, Ipswich to Peterborough and Cambridge to King's Lynn lines.
It is not yet known how long the failure, which happened around 8pm, will last, but no trains are able to travel through Ely while it is ongoing.
A spokesman for National Express East Anglia said: 'It's too early yet to say how long it will last but at the moment everything is at a standstill and clearly people will be delayed and we apologise for that.
'Until we get further news from Network Rail, which runs the signalling system, we can't say any more at this stage.'
