For 2011 the Freelander gains a range of interior and exterior enhancements, as well as a new 2.2-litre diesel engine – available as a TD4 150hp or a more powerful SD4 190hp variant – which is quieter and delivers lower CO2 emissions (14pc for automatic versions and 7pc for manual versions) than the outgoing version.
The new Freelander 2 TD4 manual achieves 45.6mpg combined and comes with intelligent Stop/Start technology as standard.
