A Norwich street was closed this morning (Wednesday) after police received reports that a man was threatening to harm himself.
Duke Street, in the city centre, was shut from Charing Cross to the roundabout at St Crispins Road while police negotiators talked to the man in St Andrew's Car Park.
A spokesman for Norfolk police said a man his 20s had been located and admitted to a mental health unit.
The road was closed at 5.30am and was re-opened by 6.30am.
