Work to fix a burst water main, which has caused delays on one of Norwich's main roads since last week, should be completed by tomorrow afternoon.
The water main in Bracondale burst last Wednesday morning and led to temporary traffic lights being installed in the road, causing delays for drivers.
A spokesman for Anglian Water said workers were continuing to 'backfill' the hole today, but said that the work should be completed by Tuesday afternoon.
Families living in nearby homes were left without water when the main burst last Wednesday.
About 40 householders – mainly on Bracondale Green – were provided with bottled water until their water supply was restored.
