Broken-down lorry causes traffic congestion on A47 outside Norwich

Major traffic congestion was caused by a broken-down lorry on the A47 outside Norwich this afternoon.

Police were called to the junction for the A146 at Trowse at 2.30pm and had to cone-off the inside lane of the eastbound carriageway.

The stretch of the A47 affected remained down to one lane for just short of an hour, with police re-opening the road fully at 3.26pm.
