NMG of Norwich had a surprise visit from Santa Claus ahead of his normal visit, as the company celebrated with 13 of its staff their long service awards – and for one recipient his retirement award was also in Santa's sleigh.
NMG managing director Grant Long (back row, right), said: 'In these days of consumerism and fast turnaround, where nothing is forever anymore, it is very rewarding to be able to make presentations to this many staff for loyal and long service. In the last two years almost 40pc of our staff has received similar awards, so we must be doing something right.'
Awards were presented to (back row, left to right) Jerry Sutton who retired while long service awards went to the rest – Keith Sivier, Matt Burley, Nick Edwards and Ian Flowerdew; (middle row, right to left) Anthony Burns, Michael Sexton, Lee Horton, Paul Brown and Heidi Fountain; and (front row, left to right) Elaine Chapman and Danny Leech.
Each recipient also received suites of crystal and a Christmas wine with a table bronze being given to Mr Sutton to mark his retirement.
