Drivers have been assured a multi-storey car park in Norwich will be open as usual despite road works in a Norwich street for the next two weeks.
St Giles Street will be closed for a fortnight from Sunday because UK Power Networks needs to carry out work in the area.
But Norwich City Council says the St Giles car park will remain open, although drivers will have to travel on a diversion via Guildhall Hill, St Benedicts Street and Willow Lane to get to it.
The closure of the road is for up to two weeks, although council bosses said the road will be reopened sooner if at all possible.
