Motorists using Norwich's Dereham Road have been warned to expect delays when a section of the road is resurfaced next weekend.
Work will begin on August 19 to repair and resurface the area close to the junction with Richmond Road in Costessey, and is expected to be finished the same day.
Traffic will be controlled using three-way stop/go boards and though access to properties and businesses will still be available, Norfolk County Council has apologised in advance for any disruption caused.
The works will cost 26,000 and will be carried out by the council's environment, transport and development department and contractors.
