A city MP and local councillor have welcomed the news that a Norwich bus company is to make changes to a key route.
Konectbus will be making changes to their number 9 route between Wymondham and Norwich bus station to fill gaps in the city's bus network. The alterations will come into effect from September 4. Norwich South MP Simon Wright and Eaton Liberal Democrat city councillor Judith Lubbock, who have campaigned to protect bus services, have welcomed the news.
The number 9 service is routed along Newmarket Road after stopping at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Following the alterations, the service will leave the hospital and head towards the UEA, stopping at Waveney Terrace, before travelling to the bus station through South Park Avenue and Unthank Road.
