An oil spill has caused a key route into a market town to be closed during rush hour on Thursday afternoon.
Police attended the B1108 in Hingham and urged motorists to avoid the area.
Highways were called to clear the spillage which was between Ringers Lane and Seamere Road.
Eyewitnesses have said vehicles were being diverted down Ringers Lane and that the oil was spilled from a tractor.
South Norfolk Police arrived on the scene to direct traffic to pass.
