Police said traffic was getting back to normal on Overstrand Road in Cromer following an earlier accident.
Motorists had been urged to avoid the road after a police spokesman warned that it was blocked, at about 3.45pm. Residents said that the road was often dangerous, as vehicles were parked on either side of it.
On this occasion, a police spokesman said a large lorry had tried to get through and had hit a car.
There were no reports of any injuries.
