Norfolk police are treating the incident at a farm near Attleborough as an industrial accident. The Health and Safety Executive has been informed and an investigation is taking place.

The fire service received a report at 9.08am that there had been a collision involving a tractor and its trailer at Snetterton. Three fire crews were sent from Attleborough, East Harling and Earlham.

The firefighters used airbags, hydraulic rescue equipment, ladders and lines, to free a person trapped in the vehicle who was released at 3.38pm. The victim was confirmed dead at the scene.

A police spokesman said officers attended an incident near Attleborough with the fire service. The deceased has not been identified, and no further details will be released at this stage, as the investigation is on-going.
