It is time to get your skates on and buy tickets for this year's coolest Christmas attraction.

The EDP and Norwich Evening News are adding a sprinkle of festive fun to the city with an ice rink, transforming Norwich Castle Mall Gardens into a winter wonderland,.

The centre piece will welcome skaters of all ages and abilities.

The rink will open on Sunday, December 6, and keep the Christmas spirit flowing into the new year, until it closes on Saturday, January 2.

Open everyday day from 10am until 9pm, the attraction will only close on Christmas Day and has a capacity of 70 people per hourly session.

Tickets are now available from the shop at the EDP and Norwich Evening News headquarters, Prospect House Rouen Road, Norwich, or by ringing 01603 772171.

Little ones wishing for snow will be welcomed to the magical playground by a giant snowman and bouncy castle. With the fun continuing on and off the rink, Disney characters and even Santa himself will make appearances to entertain families.

Local produce and seasonal delights will be on sale to satisfy hungry visitors.

Norwich airport sponsors the icy extravaganza and are 'delighted to be able to support the EDP and the Norwich Evening News' ice rink in the Castle Mall gardens.'
