Four cars crashed on the A47 slip road at Thickthorn, near Norwich, causing long rush-hour delays for motorists.
Police were called to the accident, on the slip road from the A11 to the A47, at 7.46am.
The ambulance service said three people complaining of neck and back pain suffered minor injures, and were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.
Four crews of firefighters - from Earlham, Carrow, Sprowston and Hethersett - were sent to the scene.
The first arrived at 8.14am, and the last crew left the scene at 9.11am.
The slip road re-opened at about 9am.
