Crowds enjoying the Lord Mayor's procession near to Norwich Cathedral received a shock when a wedding car suddenly joined the celebrations.
John and Sophie Ellison's wedding at Norwich Cathedral took place just as the parade, the pinnacle of the Lord Mayor's Celebration weekend, got underway at 5pm.
This meant that the happy pair, he from Denver in the US and she Norwich, had to join the procession in order to leave the ceremony.
They entered just as the Norwich Evening News and Eastern Daily Press float went past, posed for pictures, before heading off into the distance - and hopefully a long and happy marriage.
