It was organised by the Kerri Parker Academy and all funds raised are donated towards a brain tumour research charity.

Tracey Taylor, Terrel's mum, said that she was very proud of Terrel for proving that having a disability did not need to hold you back in life.

'Terrel loves attention but struggles to make friends, so we decided to start modelling,' she said.

Terrel has already been the face of two large clothing brands and a photo shop. He also won another pageant title in 2017 which was organised by UK Prince and Princess International.

Miss Taylor then saw the Kerri Parker Academy competition and so they decided to enter.

'The reason Terrel entered was just to prove a disability does not have to stop your dreams from coming true,' she said.

The family, who are from Great Yarmouth, managed to get a company to sponsor Terrel's entry.

He was up against 70 children, who all took part in catwalk training before the show and then wore spring fashion clothes down the runway.

He later met the judges, took part in a photoshoot and competed in an evening-wear category.

Miss Taylor said 'Terrel won because of his cheeky character and actually because he cannot stay still for long. He started to dance to get the attention of the crowd and judges.'

He was presented with the title of Little Mr UK, winning a sash and trophy.

'Terrel was so proud of himself and of course I am very proud too. We want to let others know to never let anything stop you achieving.'
