A 15-year-old girl had her mobile phone stolen from the Tesco store in Pasteur Road, Great Yarmouth.
Police are appealing for information after the teenager accidentally left her phone on a self-service till around 4.15pm on Thursday (May 23), but when she returned a few minutes later it was gone.
Officers believe a female customer who used the till after the girl may have picked up the phone. They are asking her to come forward.
Anyone with information should call PC Nick Kitson at Gorleston station on 101.
