Police are appealing for witness after a teenage girl was injured in what was believed to be a hit and run accident.
The crash happened at about 12.35pm today (Sunday) on the A12 at Hopton, between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.
All three emergency services attended the accident on the southbound carriageway, just south of the Total petrol station. The crash left a black Peugeot 'severely' damaged and a 19 year old female driver with minor injuries.
Investigating officer PC Catton said the accident appeared to be as a result of an incident involving a navy blue Vauxhall Astra which failed to stop at the scene and made off towards Lowestoft.
Anyone with information is asked to call Norfolk police on 101.
