Teenage driver cut free from car crash in Wymondham this morning

A car crashed into a tree on Barnham Broom Road in Wymondham this morning, trapping the driver.

The male motorist, believed to be aged 19, had to be cut from the wreckage by fire crews from Wymondham and Earlham at around 2am.

The ambulance service was called at 1.43am to treat the driver who had cuts and bruises and an injured shoulder.

He was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.
