A talking crime-fighting car will help drive scores of TV and film fans to a science fiction convention in Norfolk.
A model of the Knight Industries Two Thousand (KITT), a black Pontiac Firebird Trans Am car synonymous with the 1980s TV series Knight Rider starring David Hasselhoff will be among the star attractions at Norcon.
The annual science fiction spectacular, which started in 2009, has moved to the Norfolk Showground and following the success of last year's event it has been extended from a one day event to a two day show.
Chris Barrie, who played Rimmer in Red Dwarf as well as Gordon Brittas in the Brittas Empire, Ian McElhinney, who has appeared in Game of Thrones and Star Wars spin-off Rogue One and Jeremy Bulloch, Boba Fett from the original Star Wars trilogy will be among those present on October 7 and 8.
Mark Dean, director of Nor-Con Events Limited, said: 'It went really well last year and we had really good feed back.
'We were asked if we could do two days. The people attending asked if we could do a two day event which is why this year we're doing it and we will see how we get on.'
Other screen stars set to appear at the convention include Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels star Nick Moran, Garrick Hagon, Star Wars' X-Wing pilot Biggs Starlighter. Chris Rankin, who played Percey Weasley in Harry Potter and Femi Ogilvy, who played dancer Oola in Return of the Jedi.
As well as celebrities signing autographs and taking part in question and answer sessions, there will be the Ecto 1 car from Ghostbusters, exhibitions, demonstrations, trader stands as well as comic artists and cosplay – 'costume play' – groups.
As in previous years Nor-Con will be looking to help raise money for charity, with donations this year going to a number of charities including the East Anglian Air Ambulance and Nelon's Journey.
Mr Dean said there is still space for traders who would like to attend and has also urged any Norwich acts who might have something to offer the event to get in touch.
