But with the date looming for the auditions for the 'Lowestoft's Got Talent' competition, would-be entrants are being urged to apply now.

The auditions for budding or established entertainers will be held on Sunday, May 7 at Seagull Theatre in Pakefield.

The best 12 acts from the auditions will go forward to perform on the open air Royal Green stage on Saturday, July 22 between 3pm and 6pm.

One of the organisers Danny Steel said: 'We are expecting a busy audition day and as there are limited slots we would encourage would-be entrants to email Karen Read, the manager at The Seagull, at manager@theseagull.co.uk or danny@steelandco.co.uk
