Villagers from a north Norfolk village joined a scout group for a family fun day last weekend (Sunday September 30).
Scout leaders from Sutton and the Ely and Sutton Community First Responders offered a range of scouting activities including archery, pioneering, code-breaking, target golf, backwoods cooking and first aid.
Ali Wells, group scout leader, said: 'Today scouting is all about skills for life, and we literally saw that in action today. We are so thrilled to have the support of the local community, and are delighted to offer opportunities like today to show what a fun group we are, and how we can offer young people key life skills.'
The activities were free of charge but the group raised over £500 for funds for its new scout hut.
