A child has been treated for minor injuries after a four-vehicle crash on the A47.

The incident happened at around 2.28pm this afternoon near North Burlingham, and the road has just been fully reopened again.

A spokesman for Norfolk Police said the vehicles involved were a Renault Scenic, a Vauxhall van, a Nissan, and MG ZR.

It happened on the stretch of the A47 which is a single carriageway, in the Great Yarmouth-bound direction.

The East of England Ambulance Service attended and a child was treated after complaining of neck pain.

The spokesman confirmed the road has been reopened, but drivers should expect queues.

Meanwhile an elderly man is receiving treatment from a paramedic after an accident involving his Mazda and two parked vehicles.

The crash happened at around 3.45pm on Norwich Road, Horsham St Faith, just north of Norwich Airport.

It occurred near the Black Swan Pub. The road is currently blocked, according to the police.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said a paramedic from a rapid response vehicle is assessing the man on the scene, but he is not believed to have suffered a serious injury.

Crews from Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service are also at the scene.
