A Sheringham pharmacist has won an award for giving exceptional help to a customer.
LloydsPharmacy launched a Perfect Experience competition last year and staff were nominated by customers and patients for going above and beyond the call of duty.
Debra Smart nominated Scott Murray, from the High Street shop, for his exceptional work helping her father, who was diagnosed with cancer and needed specialist medical equipment that the hospital was unable to supply.
She said: 'Scott talked everything through with me before contacting several different manufacturers, not stopping until he found us the right one. He was extremely compassionate and helpful at a very difficult time.'
Mr Murray, who was awarded a red letter day prize for winning the competition, said he was very pleased to be recognised. He added: 'People can get far more out of their pharmacy than they realise.'
