Sheringham in Bloom committee members are appealing to green-fingered local folk to spruce up their shop fronts and beautify their borders, ready for the annual town floral competitions.
Working in partnership with Sheringham Horticultural Society, the in Bloom team will handing out trophies for classes including best shop and business display and best front garden.
Chairman Joan Thame, who thanked townsfolk and traders for their support for the team's efforts, said residents could also nominate friends and neighbours, whose gardens would then be visited by judges after the July 30 deadline.
She added: 'Last year we introduced a change to the competition by throwing the judging open to the public, this was very successful so we would really like to continue with this.'
