A group of north Norfolk fitness fans have danced their way to raising cash for two local good causes, by taking part in a three-hour sponsored zumbathon held at The Leas clifftop gardens, at Sheringham.
Organised for the third year running by Wyn Nurse, who works as a senior sports activator at North Norfolk District Council and also runs her own yoga and zumba classes, the event saw thirty youngsters, parents and grandparents dance to routines choreographed by Mrs Nurse and her fellow instructors Joe Brown-Howard, Sarah Yendell and Fiona Riley.
Proceeds from the event will go to Sheringham Carnival and the Ellen Mezzetti Memorial Fund for Epilepsy Research.
Thanking all those who took part in the event, Mrs Nurse said: 'I was truly amazed at the support from local people for the zumbathon, it was a fantastic evening and with all the dancing and laughter, the atmosphere was amazing.'
