Carnival week at Sheringham is keeping its re-jigged format of having two main days, the new committee has decided.
The parade will again be on the final Saturday, following a switch this year, while its former home of Wednesday will be the main carnival day, and is looking to expand the town races introduced in the summer.
Carnival vice-chairman Della McClean said the first meeting of the newly elected trustees had decided to keep the same format at last year, and the regular calendar slot of the first week in August.
'We would like to make the town races bigger on the Wednesday. This year there were pram races, but we are looking at adding children's races an maybe taking the event more into the town centre,' she explained.
The races were staged on the main town car park this summer, in a revival of an attraction that used to speed around the town centre streets years ago until it drew complaints from traders over the mess it caused.
Carnival organisers are meeting again soon to discuss sponsorship and publicity of next year's events. They are still keen to hear from anyone keen to get involved, who should contact Mrs McClean or her husband Stuart who is chairman, on 01263 824987.
