A fire engine from Terrington was called to Tilney All Saints following reports of a fallen electrical cable this afternoon.
According to a Norfolk Fire spokesman, the engine returned just before 4pm following reports a second cable had fallen from the same pole on Shepherds Gate road at the junction with School Road.
She said the crew is waiting for the arrival of the UK Power Network.
Another spokesman said earlier today they were called by police at just after 2.30pm to the same area.
