The man, aged in his 70s, collapsed in Moor Lane at 6.40am this morning.
A spokesman said an ambulance, rapid response vehicle and air ambulance attended and treated the man before he was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
They said the man was in 'a life-threatening condition'.
