Primary school children and college students from across Norwich were given the chance to follow in the footsteps of their heroes at a club's community football day.
Children from various Norfolk schools took part in the football activities on the pitch at the Norwich City day, with year-six pupils from Acle Academy having the opportunity to be journalists by writing a match report on the events and using iPads to film key moments.
In the afternoon, around 100 Norwich City Community Sports Foundation college students competed in a knock-out tournament. Five teams battled it out on the pitch.
During the evening everyone who took part was invited to watch the under-18 squad take on Oxford United, with the game endings 5-2.
The event was hosted by Anglian Home Improvements as part of a sponsorship deal, where it is allowed use of the pitch on one occasion.
