The production of Cinderella to raise funds for All Saints Church in Salhouse proved successful last weekend, raising over 600.
There are now even plans to start a drama group for more productions from the parishioners.
Carole Woodward, one of the church's fundraising committee members, said: 'We had a great time on Saturday, the afternoon performance was played to an almost full house and we had a full house in the evening, even turning people away.
'I think I can say with certainty we never expected it to be so successful.'
The church is holding a table top sale at the Jubilee Hall, on Lower Road, between 9am and midday on Saturday, costing 50p for admission.
