Safety warnings have been issued after a motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle crash on a 'dangerous' stretch of the A148.
The rider, believed to be Nathan Robinson, from Fakenham, died at the scene.
He was in his early thirties and previously attended Fakenham High School.
Mr Robinson, who was riding a yellow Suzuki motorbike, collided with a white Nissan Qashqai and a blue Vauxhall Zafira shortly after 3.30pm on Thursday, December 21.
It happened at the junction between Lynn Road and Creake Road, near Sculthorpe.
Chair of Sculthorpe parish council, Tony Walters, described the stretch of the A148 where Mr Robinson was killed as 'relatively dangerous'.
He said: 'That area is a 50mph stretch of road, but there are still a lot of people who do a lot more than that speed.
'There are a number of busy junctions there within metres of each other.
'The traffic is still fairly fast, and we do get speed cameras parking just across from where the accident took place.'
Leader of North Norfolk District Council and area member for Sculthorpe, Tom Fitzpatrick, said: 'I'm so very sorry to hear there's been a fatal accident, especially at this time of year.
'I'd echo the police in encouraging anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who has any information to come forward.
'Although it won't take away their pain and grief, getting the facts straight can be a form of closure for the family.
'Any loss of life is a tragedy, but when it's someone young, I think that it's even worse as they haven't had the chance to live their life.'
County councillor Marie Strong, who represents areas of Sculthorpe and Fakenham, said: 'What a very sad occurrence for all the family and everyone involved.'
Dr Strong urged anyone involved in a crash or collision to report it to the police, in order for appropriate safety measures to be upheld in areas which see a lot of accidents.
The road was closed until around 9pm while emergency services dealt with the crash.
Norfolk Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, particularly anyone who has dash cam footage which shows the driving manner of the vehicles prior to the incident.
Police figures show the number of fatalities on Norfolk's roads has remained almost the same for the past two years.
33 fatal collisions happened in 2016, causing 36 deaths in total.
Since January 1, 2017, there were 31 fatal crashes, causing 33 deaths.
Witnesses should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team (SCIT) at Wymondham on 101.
