Discussions are under way to ensure one of Norfolk's best-loved charity events can continue this year.
The East Coast Truckers Children's Convoy attracts thousands of people to line the route as HGV drivers transport disadvantaged children from Norwich to Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft.
But the Highways Agency has concerns over the safety of onlookers on vantage points on the A47, and organisers are making new safety arrangements ahead of the event on August 26.
Mike Read of the East Coast Truckers, said: 'We take our responsibilities seriously, and we all agree we have to show willing and help to sort the concerns out.'
