A special series of events have been organised across the country as part of a community initiative.
And officials at Lowestoft and Yarmouth Rugby Club were celebrating after they were surprised with a donation of 12 new rugby match balls.
The idea of donating the match balls to the L&Y players was suggested by Essex & Suffolk Water employee Robert Ayers as part of the firm's Customer Service Week, which ran from October 2 to October 6.
Claire Sharp, Essex & Suffolk Water's customer service director, said: 'Make My Day is all about giving something back to our customers and putting a smile on people's faces, so we're really pleased to be able to work with the rugby club.'
From gifts and trips away, to visits from Essex & Suffolk Water employees – who are based at Trinity House in Lowestoft and across the North East, Essex and Suffolk areas – there were numerous surprises handed out.
