A community is continuing to rally around a vandalism-hit school, after it was daubed with lewd images.

Following the incident at Rollesby Primary School last month, in which vandals broke onto the school grounds and covered the walls with offensive graffiti, a fundraising campaign was launched to purchase CCTV for the premises.

Now, organisers of the school's Christmas craft fair are hoping to raise £1,000 towards the appeal.

Held on Saturday, December 9, the fair will see around 50 craftsmen and women set up stalls, alongside a variety of fun festive games.

Emma Sneddon, who organised the fair, said: 'The school is truly humbled by the amount of support it as received from both local people and the wider community.

'The day promises to be filled with fun for everyone.'

The event is from 10am until 3pm on Saturday and will also feature a raffle, face painting and glitter tattoos.
