People with disabilities will benefit from £830 in horse-riding equipment which has been donated to the Mid Norfolk Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA).

The Rotary Club of Wymondham gave the group the money so they could buy safety stirrups and coloured 'rainbow' reins, which help the rider to ensure they are holding the reins at an equal length on each side.

Vivien Munro, RDA group coach, said: 'We are very grateful for the interest the Rotary Club of Wymondham has shown in our group.

'We aim to make our riding sessions as beneficial, safe and as much fun as possible and their generous donation will certainly help towards achieving this aim.'

The association helps adults and children five and over with physical and learning disabilities to ride, at the Eden Meadows Riding Centre in Rocklands, near Attleborough.
