The A1065 Brandon Road, near Swaffham, has been cleared after two crashes, one involving a police car.

A police vehicle was involved in a collision after it blocked the road where a van had earlier struck a deer.

No one is believed to have been seriously injured in either incident however the driver of the van, a man in his 50s, was treated for chest injuries by the ambulance service. He was not taken to hospital.

The second incident happened at around 8.10am.

Two fire crews, one each from Swaffham and Methwold, where they helped the police and ambulance service with the original crash.
