The Norfolk Garden Show returns this weekend to help budding gardeners tell their petunias from their primroses.

Organised by the Aztec Garden Show, the event celebrates the great outdoors and will include new features for 2011, such as a 'how to' zone with experts, a wider range of products and the new garden and home marquee.

Visitors will be able to stroll through the artistic show gardens designed by local nurseries and landscapers, and floral experts will be displaying their competition entries in the marquee at the new flower show organised by local horticultural clubs.

Local tradesmen and specialists will also be on hand to help, by offering advise on various garden projects.

In the main shopping village seasonal plants and shrubs, outdoor furniture and ornaments, tools and other items will be offered, as well as gifts and items from local craftsmen who will be holding demonstrations of their work.

The Festival of Food will also return, displaying local and national produce from sausages and cakes to cheese and wine.

The Norfolk Spring Garden Show is on today until Sunday, and the Norfolk Summer Garden Show is August 19-21, both at the Norfolk Showground in Costessey.

The Evening News team will be at the show offering bargain 2 goody bags filled with garden seeds, garden gloves, drink, Kettles crisps, chocolate bars and packet sweets as well as a copy of the Evening News.
