A Norfolk hockey club has taken home the Summer League Champions title and shield for the lower ladies division after winning twelve games.
The Reepham Ladies team was undefeated this year and secured their win with the help of their top goal scorer and team captain Katie Lake.
Ms Lake said: 'Reepham Ladies have done me proud. We have such strong players that we all bond together so well both on and off the pitch, we each have a unique strength that unifies us. That and the drive to win.'
The team was coached by Graham Richardson, who after 14 years is now set to retire in order to focus on his business at Alby Tea rooms, near Cromer, and Norfolk Farm Shop, in Taverham.
The club is now looking for new players, with training beginning again in September at Taverham Hockey Club. For more information contact Lucy Cook by email.
