A host of people from Norfolk have had their fifteen minutes of fame (and sometimes more) after appearing on TV shows ranging from Popstars to MasterChef. We take a look back at where some of those personalities are now:
•Leanne Mitchell from Lowestoft won the first series of The Voice in 2012 after being guided to victory by Sir Tom Jones. The singer went on to release her debut album in 2013 but it was a flop, selling less than 900 copies in its first week.
She was later dropped by her record label in 2014 and has since returned to the Potters Leisure Resort in Hopton for performances.
•Myleene Klass was thrust into the limelight when she won a place in the band Hear'Say on Popstars in 2001. After huge initial success, the band parted ways in 2002 and Klass embarked on a successful solo career in classical music.
The mother-of-two from Gorleston had a career change in 2006 when her bikini-clad performance in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here saw modelling and TV presenting contracts pour in. Most recently she presented BBQ Champ on ITV and continues to model and design for Littlewoods.
•Ronan Parke finished runner-up on the fifth series of Britain's Got Talent in 2011. The singer from Poringland received high praise from Simon Cowell and was later signed by Sony Music where he released his debut album. It peaked at number 22 in the UK album chart.
In 2012 the former Framingham Earl High School parted company with Sony Music. He has since worked with a number of labels and continues to post song covers on social media.
•Simon Blackwell from Watton appeared in the second series of the BBC's Great British Bake Off. The former rugby coach was eliminated in the second week after failing to impress with his tarts. Since the show, Blackwell has started his own business called Simple Pies which produces artisan pork pies.
•Great Yarmouth's Toni Warne sung her way to victory on Opportunity Knocks in 1987 at the age of nine.
She went on to release a cover of Michael Jackson's 'Ben' which went straight into the charts. In 2012 she had a second shot at the big time in when she performed on The Voice and was picked by Jessie J for her team. Warne made it to week four before she was eliminated. She now takes her one woman show on tour around the world performing on cruise ships.
•Norwich-born Jon Tickle rose to fame on the fourth series of Big Brother in 2003. The physics graduate went on to co-present Brainiac: Science Abuse on Sky One. He returned to the Big Brother house in 2015 as part of a time warp task and is currently a patron of the Science And Technology Regional Organisation in Surrey.
•Tim Kinnaird, a former Paediatrician at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, narrowly missed out on the MasterChef crown in 2010. He left his job as a doctor shortly after the show aired and started his own catering business from his kitchen. In 2013 he opened Macarons & More in Norwich's Royal Arcade.
•Cromer's Craig Coates was one of the most talked about house mates in Big Brother in 2005. The hairdresser struck up a close friendship with eventual winner Anthony Hutton and made it to week 11. After leaving the house Coates opened up his own hairdressers in Norwich but he left the profession in 2013 to join the Royal Navy.
•Sprowston's Sam Kelly wowed the judges on Britain's Got Talent in 2012 with his performance of 'Make You Feel My Love'. He went on to finish ninth in the final but turned down the opportunity of a management deal to return to his folk music roots.
He released his debut album in 2015 catching the attention of BBC Radio 2's folk show and earning him a nomination at the Spiral Earth Awards. Kelly is taking the album on tour in 2016 with shows across the UK.
•Lowestoft born boxer Anthony Ogogo first became known to the nation for his stint on Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack in 2008 where he finished in fourth place. He then went on to win a silver medal in the Middleweight Division at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi before winning a bronze medal at the London 2012 Olympics. After the Olympics, Ogogo turned professional and despite a series of injuries, remains unbeaten. The boxer is also a regular on the TV talent show circuit with appearances on Splash! in 2013 and Strictly Come Dancing in 2015.
•Pineapple Dance Studios instructor Andrew Stone, who grew up in Taverham and Weston Longville, appeared on the 2012 series of Celebrity Big Brother. The dancer was a controversial character in the house and the first person to be evicted. He continues to work as a teacher and spent 2015 touring dance schools.
