A mayor has vowed to continue moving her town forward, following her re-election to the role.
Southwold town councillors Melanie Tucker (pictured) and Ann Betts were both re-elected into their roles as town mayor and deputy mayor respectively.
Fellow member Michael Ladd commended Ms Tucker for her work as town mayor and for leading the council with 'style and dignity'.
Ms Tucker said: 'Thank you very much for your confidence and for voting for me to be mayor for a second year.
'I will endeavour to do my best to ensure we keep momentum with what we have started as a council.'
