The company behind East Anglian radio stations including The Beach, Radio Norwich and North Norfolk has changed hands.
Celador Radio Broadcasting, part of Celador Entertainment, has taken a controlling interest in Anglian Broadcasting Company (Holdings) Ltd, it announced today.
It will add Anglian's five radio stations, which operate in Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk, to its portfolio of 20 local and regional radio stations broadcasting under the brands The Breeze, Sam FM and Fire Radio.
The newly acquired stations are The Beach, which broadcasts in Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and surrounding areas, Radio Norwich, North Norfolk, Town 102 in Ipswich, and Dream 100 in Colchester and north east Essex.
Lyn Long has been appointed interim regional managing director, having previously worked for all five stations under the ownership of Tindle Radio.
