A retired property adviser from near Lowestoft died at the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston, an inquest heard.
John Beaney, 69, of Old Lane, Corton, died on April 24 after being admitted to the hospital with ongoing chest problems.
Norfolk Coroner William Armstrong said at an inquest in Norwich yesterday there had been no suspicious circumstances, and adjourned the hearing to a later date.
