HRH The Princess Royal is reported to be 'unwell'.

HRH The Princess Royal was due to visit Scottow Enterprise Park of the site of the former airbcase known as RAF Coltishall.

To date the Enterprise Park has 38 tenants, two of which are start-up businesses, and has helped to create 64 jobs, and has safeguarded 20 more.

However, more firms are expected to move on to the site when it becomes an official Enterprise Zone next month.

Enterprise Zone status would mean firms signing up to move on to the park would not have to pay business rates for several years.

Three years ago this month the council paid £4m for the 600-acre base, which closed in 2006, pledging to boost businesses and create jobs.

The visit will focus on the redevelopment of the former RAF Coltishall site as well as the positive effect it is having on the tenants and the local community.

A council spokesperson added: 'It is hoped that this visit will continue to stimulate interest in Scottow Enterprise Park and reaffirm the long term commitment to the businesses on site and that in years to come the provide a location that can be appreciated and enjoyed, not just by local businesses, but by the local community at large.'
