PRESCRIPTION medication, tobacco and a handbag were among the items stolen when burglars broke into a house in Gorleston.

Police from Great Yarmouth CID are appealing for information in relation to the burglary which took place in Hornbeam Close on Monday, January 23.

Between 3am and 5am, burglars made their way into the back garden and climbed through a kitchen window. A quantity of tobacco, prescription medication and a handbag were stolen from inside.

The garden is adjacent to the pathway that runs parallel with Shrublands Way and a man was seen acting suspiciously in this area at around 5am the same day. The man was wearing a dark or navy hooded top.
