More than 200 homes on the north Norfolk coast had power restored following an outage overnight which lasted about 10 hours.

UK Power Networks said the problem, which is affected 202 properties in the Mundesley area, occurred at 4.37am on Monday.

A spokesman said the outage was caused by an overhead electricity line.

Meanwhile, 16 homes were left without power in Mildenhall after an outage at 3.54am on Monday.

UK Power Networks said it was caused by a fault on an underground electricity cable.

A spokesman said: 'We may have to dig up the road to carry out repairs.'
