A market town's Post Office has reopened following its sudden closure.
The post office in Watton was reopened on Saturday following an unexplained closure eight days earlier.
The branch, which underwent a thorough refurbishment earlier this year, shut unexpectedly on March 4 due to 'operational reasons'.
After speculation that the branch may be closing, a Post Office spokesman said the company was 'committed' to maintaining a branch in the town, adding: 'We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the unplanned closure of this branch.'
George Freeman, Mid Norfolk MP, got in touch with the Post Office about the ongoing issue. A spokeswoman for Mr Freeman said: 'The Post Office said they need to make sure everything is ready to open to the public, then it will be back to a six day a week service as it was before.'
For the time being the branch will be open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 12.30pm on Saturday.
