CHRIS BISHOP
Police launched a fresh appeal for information last night, a week after two people were hurt in a shooting in King's Lynn.
Three men, two of them armed with handguns, burst into a house in Bagge Road, Gaywood, at 11.30pm last Thursday.
Shots were fired and a man in his 20s and a woman in her 40s received minor injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw a white car - possibly an Astra or Renault Megane - with a spoiler in the Bagge Road area.
The gunmen are believed to have left the scene at speed in the car.
Det Chief Insp Neil Firm, who is leading the hunt for the men, said: "We are still especially interested in hearing from anyone who saw this white car in the area at the time or has seen it since, or who has any knowledge of its movements in recent times."
Five warrants have been executed at addresses in King's Lynn since the incident, with a view to disrupting the illegal drugs market in the town.
Anyone with information about the incident or those responsible is asked to contact officers at the MIT incident room on 0845 456 456 4567.
