Police today named a 30-year-old man who died when his car left the road and hit a lamppost.

Peter Woodham from Westfields, Tilney St Lawrence, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, on the A47 at Tilney All Saints, at 5am on Sunday.

In a statement issued via police, Mr Woodham's parents said: 'It is tragic that Peter was taken so suddenly from us.

'He was an easy going, likeable person who enjoyed life and was a loving father to his two girls and his partner's children.
